Competence and Cohesion
We live in interesting times, to say the least!
The senior leaders of many companies had the foresight to envision a scenario in which “remote operations” would be required, and they prepared their people, platforms and processes accordingly.
Other leaders did not prepare their companies for a “Black Swan” event and its ripple effect on the economy, business operations and in some cases, the very survival of their organizations.
My advice to senior leaders:
“The Coronavirus pandemic is not developing your company’s leadership team, it’s revealing its competence and cohesion.
If you’re satisfied with what you’re seeing, congratulations!
If not, resolve to never again be caught unprepared.”
